Future bloc appealed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi officials to reconsider the Saudi decision to halt its military aid designed to support and arm the Lebanese army and security forces.

Future bloc's fresh words came on Tuesday in a statement read out by MP Ammar Houry, in the wake of the bloc's periodic meeting under the chairmanship of bloc head, Fouad Siniora.

Conferees reportedly dwelt on most recent developments on the local arena, notably the recent Saudi decision to suspend its military donation to the Lebanese army and security forces.

The bloc deemed the statement issued by yesterday's Cabinet session as putting matters on right track towards emphasizing the pillars of Lebanon's foreign policy regarding Arab countries, notably in terms of commitment to the Arab consensus, solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of the attack on the diplomatic missions in Iran, as well as commitment to the ministerial statement, upon which the government has gained the vote of confidence.

Future underlined the importance of the position proclaimed yesterday by former Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Central House, where he launched the signature campaign on the document of "Loyalty to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and solidarity with the Arab consensus".

The bloc categorically considered such an initiative as a "peaceful civilized step which reflects the Lebanese people's adherence to the brotherly consolidated relations and close ties with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)."

Future called for a wide participation in marking signature on said document, as an expression of keenness on maintaining best relations with Arab brethrens.

On the other hand, the bloc considered that Hezbollah's unremitting role in controlling over the decisions of state departments and institutions, as well as its disruption of Lebanon's foreign relations in general and the Arab relations in particular, has become a real threat to the freedom and sovereignty of Lebanon and the Lebanese people's interests at home and abroad.

The bloc underlined that the logic of statelets is further growing and expanding at the account of the State's logic and sovereignty.

On the forthcoming presidential election's parliamentary session on March 2nd, the bloc highlighted the constitutional duty by all deputies, including the presidential candidates, to head to the Parliament and partake in the electoral operation.
