| Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan said on Saturday that the approach followed by martyr Rafik Hariri must be adopted once more to help develop an ailing Lebanon, noting that the state that Hariri worked so hard to construct has become paralyzed.
The Mufti prayed at the grave of former PM Rafik Hariri in Down Town Beirut for the eleventh commemoration of Hariri's martyrdom.
He went on to say that Hariri was killed for the sake of the nation and its security, "the criminals wanted to punish the Lebanese and Arab dream."
Hariri was killed because he dared to dream of coexistence, prosperity, and a strong and fair state, according to Daryan.
He added that the dream of the deceased to see a peaceful and safe country cost him his life.
