"Future" bloc member, Deputy Ahmad Fatfat said on Wednesday "Hezbollah doesn't want a president at the present time".

The MP told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio that Hezbollah's position regarding the presidential initiative is related to Iran, "as Iran wants to keep the presidential paper during its negotiations in the region".

The lawmaker added that Deputy Michel Aoun is related to foreign commitments and his decision is related to Hezbollah who "does not want to elect a president at this stage".

Meanwhile, "Kataeb" bloc member, Deputy Elie Marouni ruled out on Wednesday "possibility to reach a solution regarding former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's initiative which had faced lots of obstacles from sides within March 8 forces as well as differences among March 14 forces".

He told the "Sawt el-Shaab" radio that contradiction has appeared lately in Bkirki's stances.

On the other hand, he said that Kataeb bloc hasn't agreed yet on the deportation of the trash plan due to mystery in the tenders and the high cost.

"This solution proves the Cabinet's weakness and failure to resolve crises," he confirmed.
