MP Ahmad Fatfat said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon 100.3 - 100.5 radio that "dialogue between Hezbollah and the Future is pointless and no longer productive on any level, particularly after the blocking position of the presidential elections and the stance regarding the release of terrorist Michel Samaha."

Tackling the lack of a unified vision over the presidential dossier within the Future Movement, Fatfat said Minister Ashraf Rifi was an ally of the Movement and not part of its structure.

"The stances of the movement are expressed by its leader, [former] Prime Minister Saad Hariri," he said.

Asked about the last contact between Hariri and MP Sleiman Frangieh, Fatfat said "This communication is a moral confirmation by Hariri on his support to Frangieh."
