Future Parliamentary Bloc reiterated on Tuesday its unwavering position anti-Hezbollah weapons. "These weapons, aimed at the chest of the Lebanese, have proven to be illegitimate."

Future's Deputies convened today in Qoreitem under the chairmanship of MP Fouad Siniora, and lengthily tackled latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

As confirming their cleaving to the statement of March 14 coalition delivered last Sunday at the Bristol to announce the camp's refraining from participating in the imminent Najib Mikati-led Cabinet, the Deputies highlighted their constitutional right to form the opposition.

They blatantly said they shall not remain cross-handed or lenient as to defending democracy and the freedom of expression.

The Bloc also clung to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon for it is "the sole competent authority entitled to probe into the assassination of Rafik Hariri and his companions and to unearth truth behind this crime."

Besides, conferees called for a huge turn out on the commemoration of March 14.

Future parliamentary bloc member Jamal Jarah said "time has come to put the finger on the wound," considering " arms a burden on the Lebanese political life, and it is no more acceptable that it abolishes the results of the parliamentary elections."

Jarah remarks came during an interview with "Al- Fajer" radio station in comment on the arms issue. He also explained that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), justice, halting political assassination and the arms issue will be the headlines of the upcoming stage which will be launched on the 14th of this month(March).

The MP said that caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri relies in this stage on the Lebanese people who believe in the State, democracy, army and stability.

He added that Hariri's position yesterday came as a result of March 8 forces', namely Hizballah, coup against the dialogue table, confirming that March 14 forces will raise the voice against arms and use all peaceful legitimate methods to reach a solution to that issue.

Jarah considered that the one third veto power and Michel Aoun's insistence on having the Interior ministry are just minor issues and not the ones that really delay the formation of the new cabinet, pointing out that regional forces are after the delay due to the current events in the Arab world.

Jarah said although March 8 forces were a part of the ruling party, they accused it of being a problem, adding "we'll wait and see what they will do if the cabinet is formed."
